Step off the beaten track and onto the banks of the River Lynher. For over 400 years, Shillingham has been a roll-up-your-sleeves working farm.
Today, we invite you onto our shillet-rich slopes to see exactly how we’re carrying that legacy forward. Walk along Brunel’s historic railway, look out for the curlews on the foreshore ecosystem, and discover how we’re working with the land, not against it.

Join us for a guided walk through the vines and farm, tasting our wines right alongside the slopes they were produced from. It's the perfect opportunity to slow down, explore a hidden corner of the estuary, and enjoy a proper, working vineyard experience.
• Duration: 1 to 1.5 hours
• Price: £25 per person
• Availability: Mid-June through to late September.
As a small, working team, we open our calendar slots around farm life - check our live booking calendar below for upcoming dates.
Add a bottle of our wine (or a couple!) to your booking now for an exclusive pre-visit discount. Pick it up on arrival to enjoy overlooking the Lynher or take a piece of Shillingham home with you.

For wine lovers, coastal wanderers and those drawn to Cornwall's wilder side. Our digital gift vouchers can be used towards a Shillingham Vineyard Safari - an experience shaped by rolling vines, sea air, and the stories rooted in this land.
Let them choose their perfect moment to visit, whenever the Cornish weather decides to play along.

Whether it’s a milestone birthday, a team away-day, or a bespoke private event, we love hosting larger groups. Drop us a line directly at info@shillingham.com to map out a custom visit to the vineyard.
As we explore the vineyard together, we’ll guide you through a selection of 3 to 5 of our flagship wines. You’ll get to sip them right alongside the very vines they were produced from, learning to spot the bright, clean, maritime notes that make Cornish wine so special.
Yes, you do! To say thank you for making the trip to visit us, all tour guests receive an exclusive 10% discount on our wines. You can apply this discount by adding a bottle to your order when booking your tour online, or on any bottles purchased directly from the vineyard door after your tour.
The guided tour lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours depending on group size and how chatty everyone is! However, you are more than welcome to relax a little longer afterward to enjoy the views over the water.
Absolutely. We are a family-run farm and well-behaved, friendly dogs on leads are welcome to join the tour. We just ask that they keep an eye out for our resident estuary wildlife!
This is Cornwall, so we always advise checking the forecast, bringing a brolly, and wearing sensible footwear or a sturdy pair of wellies for walking the farm slopes. If the weather turns genuinely wild, we will adapt the tour as best we can or we’ll reach out to rearrange your booking.
Because we are a historic, working farm set on steep, south-facing coastal slopes, the terrain in the vineyard rows can be uneven, muddy, and rugged. Please contact us ahead of booking so we can discuss your specific accessibility needs and ensure we accommodate you comfortably.
