Our Cornish Wine
Shillingham is a vineyard like no other; Sitting on the banks of the Lynher River, it has a unique combination of climate, terrain and eco-systems. Famed for its fertile soils, maritime climate and outstanding flora & fauna, this often-ignored part of Cornwall is a developing hub of young, innovative and diverse farming and sustainable business enterprises.
Conceived in the Spring of 2020, Shillingham Vineyard spans 70,000 vines and a whole world of opportunity and optimism. We aim to bottle that excitement.
Our wines and our ethos seek to balance respect for the land, its idiosyncrasies and foibles with modernity, boldness and innovation. At Shillingham, we are constantly moving with the tide and times.
Chardonnay
Coming in Autumn 2024.
Nurtured in Shillingham’s fertile silt soil, our Chardonnay vines will yield wines that delicately capture the crisp, saline minerality and refreshing essence of our vineyard. Each vintage will reflect the distinct nuances of its growing season, infusing the wine with a unique character and charm.
Still wines
Our aim is to craft wines that truly reflect our enviroment. From the fertile soils to the slopes that gracefully descend to the banks of the River Lynher, we aspire for each bottle to embody the richness of Shillingham’s landscape. Our collection of still wines will be carefully crafted from our Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Sauvignon Blanc grapes.

With a commitment to showcasing our environment, our forthcoming collection of sparkling wines seeks to embody the distinct character of Shillingham. Crafted with precision and care from a selection of our Champagne and German clones, our sparkling wines will offer a delightful expression of Shillingham’s terroir in every effervescent sip.
